Set in three acres of private grounds, Barlands Cottage is a 250 year old house full of character and charm, and may be described as a quiet countryside retreat nestling between two Gower villages within 5 minutes walking. The glorious beaches and coastal walks of Gower are just minutes away and there are 4 lovely pubs within 10 minutes walking distance from Barlands Cottage.

Accommodation in our B&B is en-suite, with SKY television and tea and fresh coffee making facilities in your room. Maddy and Nick also offer "Barlands Old Stable" - WTB 4 star - for holiday accommodation. The accommodation comprises of an en-suite double bedroom and living room with kitchenette, and is of the highest standard.

Barlands Cottage is in an ideal position for Gower beaches and excellent walking. Three golf courses are within a 5 minute drive, as are three horse riding activity centres. Enjoy endless off road cycling (local bike hire available). Explore the exceptionally beautiful Bishopston Valley, which has a fascinating history of smuggling, past industry and interesting geology. Follow the river from Barlands Cottage as it meanders through the valley to where it opens out onto Pwlldu Bay. Here you can enjoy a quiet swim and picnic (packed lunches can be provided) on the unspoilt beach.
